During my time as an Interaction Design Intern at Stylight, an e-commerce platform for fashion, beauty and lifestyle, I had the opportunity to work collaboratively with the Product Manager and iOS/Android developers to design a robust mobile app. This involved designing icons, creating animations using open source libraries, conducting design sprints with stakeholders, and brainstorming user flows that align with user and business goals.

Problem

In order for first-time users to see different value offerings that the app provides in content (fashion, beauty and lifestyle), we had to rethink how to make these offerings obvious and clear to the user by guiding them throughout the onboarding experience.

Solution

Among my tasks was to sketch out user flows from wireframe to high fidelity mockups in order to redesign a walkthrough experience that introduces the mobile app's verticals, as well as highlighting the Wishlist feature.
